One inbox for everything that needs you.

Each proposal shows the change, why the agent wants it now and the checks it passed. Changes agents made on their own are listed too.

The inbox: To decide (3), To read (3), Silent and History. Waiting: the running-low note to first-time buyers, and two creative desk deliveries, each with Approve and Decline.

Anatomy of a proposal

Every proposal follows the same layout, so you can decide one in a minute. This is the budget move the New Customers agent proposed on October 21.

  1. What it changes“Move $60/day from broad coffee campaigns to the Holiday Blend and gift sets.” The title states the change, and the line beneath it gives the money it moves.
  2. From and toBroad coffee campaigns go from $90 to $30 a day, and the Holiday Blend and gift sets from $62 to $122. The total stays at $212, so the 20% limit passes. But one line moves 97%, and moving more than 50% of a campaign’s budget needs your approval.
  3. Why nowRoast-date messages beat the control by $8 per first order, and gift sets carry the best margin.
  4. Checks and permissionBelow the summary, every check the rules ran: “2 checks passed · reallocation needs approval.” Budget changes normally go ahead and notify you, but a large reallocation waits for a person even when budget changes act on their own.
  5. HistoryProposed, sent to you, approved by Alex Morgan, done: one dated line for each.

How it works

  1. 1

To decide, to read, silent, history

The tabs follow your permission levels. To decide holds what needs your approval. To read holds what agents did inside your limits and told you about. Silent holds what they did without notifying you. History holds everything, filterable by approved, declined, stopped and read.

  2. 2

The change and the reason for it

Each proposal says what it changes and why now. A budget raise shows money a day and a month, a move shows the money moved, an email shows its reach, and a launch shows its spend: “+$40 a day for 14 days · $560 total.”

  3. 3

    Checks shown before you decide

Each proposal lists the checks it ran and what they changed. On the running-low email, consent, suppression lists, frequency caps, smart suppression and a holdout narrowed 1,860 first-time buyers to 1,376, with the number each rule removed.

  4. 4

Approve, or decline with a reason

Approve a proposal, or decline it with a note the agent carries into its next plan. Small budget changes and deliveries of creative or copy are low-stakes, so you can decide them together.

  5. 5

    Checked again when you approve

Approving isn’t the last check. When you approve, your limits run again against that moment’s spend, which may have changed since the proposal was made.

  2. Since yesterday · Creative desk

“Brewing-gear ads for the holidays”: three images ready for the New Customers agent to use, once you approve them.

  3. After you approve · New Customers agent

Proposes the launch: “Launch three creatives for the pour-over kit,” +$40 a day for 14 days, $560 total. Why now: our cost per click rose 10 percent over six weeks.

  4. Done without asking · Brand review

Rewrote two Holiday Blend ads that made a health claim, after your banned phrases stopped both before they ran. Rewriting is within its permission, so the rewrite appears in To read.

  5. Oct 21 · History

The approved budget move: proposed by the New Customers agent; 2 checks passed · reallocation needs approval; approved by Alex Morgan; $60 a day moved.

How the inbox decides what you see

Software sets the order and the grouping, so a persuasively worded proposal can’t jump the queue.

  • What needs you comes firstBuilt in

Items waiting for you sort ahead of everything else, then by how much money or reach they move, how long they’ve waited, whether they start something new, and whether a check flagged them.

  • The tab follows the permission levelPer action, per agent

You approve goes to To decide. Acts and notifies you goes to To read. Acts silently goes to Silent. Everything settled goes to History.

  • Low-stakes items can be decided togetherBuilt in

Budget changes that add little spend over a month, and deliveries of creative or copy, can be approved in one go. Everything else is decided one at a time.

  • A stopped proposal can’t be approvedBuilt in

It goes to History with the rule that stopped it, and the agent proposes something that fits.

  • More autonomy is suggested, never assumedYour choice

After you approve the same kind of proposal from an agent three times without declining one, the inbox suggests letting it act on its own. Nothing changes until you say so.

What happens when…

What happens when I’m away for a week?

Proposals wait, each marked with how long it has waited. Nothing that needs your approval happens without it. Whatever you’ve let agents do on their own carries on inside your limits.

What happens when spend has changed by the time I approve?

Approving runs your limits again just before the change is made. If the change no longer fits, it doesn’t run, and you’re told which limit stopped it.

What happens when I decline without a reason?

The proposal is declined and logged. A reason helps, because it becomes guidance the agent reads on its next run.

What happens when a proposal breaks a limit?

It never reaches To decide. It goes to History as stopped, with the rule that stopped it, and the agent is told why.

How often do I need to check it?

Whenever something is waiting. The front page shows what needs you each morning.

Can more than one person approve?

Yes. Owners, admins and approvers decide proposals, each up to their own approval limit, and the history shows who decided each one.

What if I never approve something?

It waits. Nothing set to You approve can happen without you.

Can I approve several things at once?

Yes, for low-stakes items such as small budget changes and deliveries of creative or copy.
